NEM-Nucleus of Experimentation in Music accompanies films by Jean Painlevé

N.E.M. has been developing activities since 2018, both within ARCM and outside it, collaborating in events such as Open Studios or Feira Kriativa with special performances or through its mutant collective, Orquestra Livre, which this year also participated in the MIA - International Meeting of Improvised Music . ONE M. it is also part of the European network of improvised music “ShareImpro”, a new project arising from the appreciation for free improvised music and the community that surrounds it, co-financed by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union. DANZ, Rui Daniel's alter ego, prioritizes himself as an artist who doesn't follow specific standards or guidelines. In his creative process, he is substantially driven by different artistic aspects, which, in a way, makes him an eclectic artist with a curious eye for audiovisual and experimental experiences.

Miguel Neto aka mEEkAlnUt Musician, sound designer, digital artist, DJ and event curator/producer, he works in a multidisciplinary way, always starting from the sonic experience. Since 2010 he has been the sound side of the Boris Chimp 504 audiovisual project; in 2013 he started the project dedicated to vinyl music, Discossauro; and between 2015 and 2019 he was responsible for organizing exploratory music sessions in the city of Faro.
