Not a single liter of beer was ever brewed in this space, but its name has remained forever “glued” to the building and to the imagination of the people of Faro.

When you stand on the magnificent roof terrace of the factory, remember that at your feet is a building with a millennial history, which was once an Islamic fortress, a medieval castle, military headquarters in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, an industrial alcohol factory, a warehouse for beer and various beverages, and currently home to many arts. Whew! If this is not quite a story, we don’t know what is!
