At the age of 18 he enrolled in Valentim de Carvalho music school where he had singing, guitar, aural training, music theory and combo classes. The reencounter with her Brazilian roots happened a few years later when she joined Orquestra Bamba Social as a vocalist, a project that brought together Luso-brazilian musicians living in Porto.
