Allcante

ALLCANTE is a group of friends from Alentejo and Algarve who, after many gatherings with Alentejo music always present, ended up getting together and creating a group that seeks above all to elevate the traditions of the Cante as well as the popular songs from Alentejo. With the voice of our Mesejanense Capela, ALLCANTE seek to transmit the deepest feeling that made Cante an Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Thus, we present the group: on the traditional accordion, Daniel Figueiras from Loulé; Hélio Perfeito, from Safara, Alentejo, on the transverse flute; Miguel José, from Cercal do Alentejo, on the precursion and bell viola; Júlio Guerreiro, from Loulé, on the viola; and finally, Filipe Capela, singer and "voice" from Alentejo. Passing through the various modes of the popular and traditional songs from Alentejo, without forgetting the corridinhos from Algarve, through their own adaptations, ALLCANTE promises moments well spent and lively.
