Faro’s Municipal Library has a centennial history that goes from its founding in 1902 to the construction of its new building, inaugurated in 2001. Its roof allows a fantastic view to the Alameda Garden, which, with its peacocks, gives a certain exotic atmosphere to the place. The view of the Ria Formosa right next door is not to be overlooked either.
